2 Rankin
Avenue 0600
    [Brand Identity]

2 Rankin Avenue 0600 is the brand and identity system for a hypothetical museum in Te Rewarewa, Aotearoa, New Zealand. Completed as part of a brief that required the development of a cultural institution dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of cultural artefacts, 2 Rankin Avenue 0600 served as an exploration into design ethics, allowing me to question the compliance of designers in commodifying culture under capitalism.
My solution to this brief was radical inaction. I named the institution after the occupied site, only implementing graphic elements that improve accessibility, such as the logomark, which applies techniques from Renato Casutt’s Bionic Reading.
